You may not think the way your page is laid out is important however making changes to the way your site is laid out can make a massive difference to to way you make money and wether you have regular visitors.
The first thing you need to remember is where people look as soon as you page loads. In general people tend to look in the same place once the page is loaded. So you may want to place things there which are of more importance, such as important messages you need your users to know.
If you look at the image above it shows where people automatically look when the page loads. So When you next make a web page your users wont always look in the top left corner. They will look slightly to the right of the top corner. Take advantage of this…
The above image shows what users seem to prioritise over other parts of the page. So if you put your adsense ads, or what ever PPC advertising program you are using, in one of the higher priority parts of the page your users will be more likely to click on your ads and you will make more money.
So in conclusion, you page layout can be very important for you in many ways. It can help make more money and it can help you get messages across to your users much easier. So if you follow the guidelines said in this blog you will have a much more sucsessful website.
